When do you do an expert review?

Are you working on a new website or new feature? An expert review helps you remove problem areas from the concept or design at an early stage. By clearing up problems at once you'll save a lot of time and money later.

If you're stuck in a project, you'll get new insights and ideas by sparring with a usability specialist. So you can start again afresh.

If the site is already live, but statistics show that visitors get stuck or quit, then consider an expert review first. Perhaps the problem will be an open book to us.

An expert is only an expert.

Lets be honest: an Expert Review won't expose all problems. People's behavior is sometimes difficult to predict in spite of our experience. Especially when it's about specific target groups or special functionalities.

Therefore it's important to think about a concept test or usability test as well. And a test is also much more effective after an expert review. When the most obvious problems have been solved, you then see where things can really be improved using a test.

How does an Expert Review work?

Know who wants what.

Together we look at your visitors. Who are they? What's their objective when visiting the site? And we want to know what you want to achieve with the site. Then we know how we have to view and evaluate the website.

An Expert Review can be implemented in each phase of the design and construction process. With wire-frames, visual designs, a prototype, beta version or a fully developed website. Two usability specialists go through the site independently and share their findings afterwards.

We'll get together quickly.

We understand you have no time to lose. An expert review often only takes us 1 or 2 days, sometimes only a few hours. We present our findings in a workshop and we discuss the best solution with the team involved.

Clearly presented on paper.

If you would rather a report, that's possible too. Within 2 weeks everything will be down on paper. Our conclusions bring you face to face with the facts. But we always make concrete recommendations that enable you to get started immediately.
